1. Nature and Purpose of This Portal

The Annapurna Yojana Portal ("AYP Easy" or "the Portal") at https://socialsecurity.aypeasy.online/ is an independently developed, non-commercial, citizen-created digital tool designed exclusively as a public service to assist eligible residents of West Bengal in preparing and filling the Annapurna Yojana application form maintained by the Social Security Division of the Government of West Bengal.

This Portal is:

• Made by a citizen volunteer, for the general public, as a social cause initiative.
• Not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the Government of West Bengal, the Department of Food & Supplies, or any other government authority.
• Not a substitute for the official Government of West Bengal Social Security portal at https://socialsecurity.wb.gov.in/.
• Not operated for profit, commercial gain, or any monetary benefit.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this Portal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, along with all applicable laws of the Republic of India and the State of West Bengal. If you are accessing this Portal on behalf of another person, you represent that you have authority to bind that person to these Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including but not limited to:

• The Information Technology Act, 2000 (as amended) and the rules thereunder.
• The Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
• The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA).
• The Indian Contract Act, 1872.
• Any applicable State laws of West Bengal in force from time to time.

3. No Data Collection — Privacy Assurance

ALL DATA ENTERED IN THIS PORTAL REMAINS ENTIRELY ON YOUR OWN DEVICE. WE DO NOT COLLECT, STORE, TRANSMIT, OR SHARE ANY PERSONAL DATA WHATSOEVER.

Specifically:

• No Aadhaar number, biometric data, or Unique Identification (UID) information is recorded or transmitted.
• No mobile number, address, bank account, or financial information is sent to any server.
• No cookies, trackers, or analytics tools are used to profile users.
• No backend database stores your submitted form data.
• The form is processed entirely on the client side (your browser/device).

In compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Supreme Court judgment in K.S. Puttaswamy v. Union of India (2017) recognizing the Right to Privacy as a Fundamental Right under the Constitution of India, this Portal is designed with a privacy-by-design principle — no personal data processing occurs on our end.

4. Disclaimer of Government Affiliation

This Portal is NOT an official Government portal. It has been created independently to improve accessibility for citizens who may find the official portal difficult to use.

The Portal:

• Does not replicate, mirror, copy, frame, or reproduce any government website in a manner intended to deceive or mislead users.
• Does not impersonate any government official, department, or authority.
• Does not use any official government logo, seal, emblem, or branding in a manner that creates a false impression of government affiliation.
• Displays clear and prominent disclaimers at all times to notify users of its independent, voluntary, and non-governmental nature.

Any resemblance in form layout to the official Annapurna Yojana form is solely for the purpose of facilitating accurate and convenient data entry by citizens, consistent with the public interest objective of this initiative.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• References to 'Annapurna Yojana', 'Government of West Bengal', and related names/schemes remain the intellectual property and trademark of the respective government authorities and are used here only for descriptive and citizen-assistance purposes under fair use principles.
• Re-use of this Portal's interface for non-commercial, public interest purposes with proper attribution is permitted; commercial use is strictly prohibited.
